I have been using VxVM for about a year now, and I love it. It is really versatile and has many more options than LVM. One thing that I really like is the ability to deport an import disks between hosts with ease. No more having to use mknod for the group file, etc.

VxVM is really great for those not running 11.31. If you buy the level just above the base version, you get things like multipathing, disk mirroring, snapshots, etc. If you are looking for real mulitpathing in say 11.23, then this is definitely the way to go. You get more bang for your buck.
